Bubba Spike
This young lad was being neglected and came to us as a thin grumpy boy.
We have had him neutered and he is now ready to find his new home!
Yeti
Yeti is a 4 year old neutered male who really enjoys his person. He has been easy to win over!
Mae baebe
This little girl came to us as a tiny little hog! She is now 8 months old, has been spayed, and will be available for adoption the 2nd week of October 2022.
Elderly/special need homes
These hedgies are in their later years or require specific care for their special needs.
Kiwi
This 5 year old gal is just starting to slow down! She is full of energy and came to us after he mom went to college. She would love a home where she can live out her life exploring!

6 Hedgehogs from hoarder situation
MHIY partnered up with several other rescues to aide in taking in 30 hedgehogs from a neglect case. Each hedgehog will require an exam. One has ear infection and 2 will require more tests to find out why they are having difficulty walking (cancer is a concern as other were already diagnosed). First exam was done upon confiscation however we will now take over all medical costs.
Once cleared by Dr. Santiago, these lil cuties will be available for adoption.

Koosh
Koosh came to us after his owner could no longer care for him. We have come to love and adore him and he will be staying with us for our educational program.
Do not take this little ball of quills for granted.....this little guy can run FAST!
