Here at My Hope's In You Small Animal Rescue, Inc.,  we have always believed that it takes the entire community to run a rescue.  Since there are no local or state government  funding for the animals we care for, we have invited all to consider being a spoke in the wheels that keeps these doors open to small animals in need.  Our goal is to get 600 people to donate just $5 a month each - these days that is just about the price of a cup of coffee, but here, that $5 keeps the animals housed in their species best climate, air filters and venting systems running 24/7, provides food and bedding and some vet care.  MHIY is 100% volunteer based, so all funding goes to the animals and their needs.

Some would LOVE to bring home a furry friend, but the timing isn't right or another pet would make that difficult.  My Hope's In You Small Animal Rescue, Inc. has come up with a spay/neuter program to help in cases like this.  When you sponsor a spay/neuter, it helps these animals take an important step to finding their forever homes.  Most cases the animals in our care have been dumped, seized or more recently surrendered due to family displacement, loss of family member or loss of job.  That means no funding for vet care is provided.  That is when we outreach to our supporters to help us with this expense.  In return for $100 spay/neuter donation, we will allow you to name the animal if it did not have a name, (obviously we have some guidelines as we try our best to keep everything we do with our young followers in mind) or we can send you a tea towel or tote.

Donating items from Tractor Supply can get costly due to shipping.  We use about $120 a week toward TSC purchases.  This includes Equine pine, goat and chicken feed for our sanctuary animals.  We do find it more practical  to use giftcards for these purchases so that we can pick up items and use every dime toward feed and bedding rather than shipping.

We are working hard to keep our social media active and up to date.  Sharing our posts, liking and commenting, helps others to see them too.  This gets each pet the most exposure and more chances to find a home.
